As I've learned since arriving here, there are many different styles of RP.

What do you like about your RP style?

I try to be very open and diverse, you cannot and should not win every battle, and when I don't win, I try to let the other side have their victory, be it enslavement, very...very mild torture or such like that, leaving scars or such to mark their victory.

i like to be fluid and not having planned every detail to level 30. i see so many have the have to be mechanically perfect or optimal, and imo thats too much an mmo mentality and just not me.

I prefer the journey in the story rather than starting at the end and then trying to fill a gap

I usually like to keep certain aspects of my characters' deeper motivations private, instead of wearing them on their sleeves, while still RPing hints toward them. Fewer players will hear their stories, but those who have interest in solving the mystery will have a sense of pride and accomplishment, having unlocked the story. Backstory explanations may also be purchased for $59.99.

Seriously though, it makes people feel special when they're trusted with it.

It's sort of a weird question. Like RP style in the sense of, "always find myself being a great supporting character" or "I'm best at being a faction leadership otherwise I wilt away" or "I create conflict everywhere I go" or "political rp or death" or "i wander around and make rp that way"?

Or RP style as "I'm good at descriptions" or "I do witty dialogue really well"

I'm not sure about 'liking' it, as I'm not there yet. But I try to make my characters a part of the world they're in, allowing them to be molded over time.

I keep my characters internally consistent, especially when it's against what I would want to do. It really helps me learn how to empathize with a lot of people, because I can see through thought processes and understand why people make decisions I wouldn't.

What I like about my RP style is that I become my character, much like method acting. My characters act how they would were it real.

I'll throw something in for those reading this that may be new to RP as I was recently.
Here's an exercise to try.
Stand in a town or a forest or anywhere. Zoom in up close and look around. What do you see? Trees? A windmill? The ocean? A large green humanoid? Do you know what it is? Should your character know what it is? Enjoy.
