What I need is for someone in USA Midwest region (Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, and Michigan) who is NOT getting the issue with lag to run a traceroute to the server and paste me the results.
To run the traceroute from a windows computer:
1. open a command prompt (go to start menu, type into the search or into Cortana "cmd" without the quotes and press enter) The command prompt should look like a black box
2. In the command prompt type the following
Code: Select all
tracert game.arelith.com
Code: Select all
C:\Users\thcrg>tracert game.arelith.com

Trace complete.
4. Use your mouse to highlight the results, then press CTRL+C to copy it
5. Paste the results here, or send me a PM with the results pasted in.
This will allow me to compare my results to yours, and to see what route gets lag, and what route doesn't. I'm looking for a way to direct how my signal routes so I can avoid lag, and if I'm able to find a way, or end up having to ask ATT to do it, then the more information I have, the better. And if I can fix it for myself, hopefully I can for others having this problem also.
Thanks
