EE Account Player Name extension?

Is there any chance that you lads/ladies could take a word over to Beamdog and tell them they probably need to increase the allowed character limit on names? Right now, a good 90% of my player names are too long for the limit and I can't access my vaults.

Make an account over on their forums and suggest it.

Or abbreviate. OJISWMG, though no one will know what it means, likely.

Best to post on their forum yes, although I've asked them directly as well in a Discord chat. We'll see. Worst case, we can migrate those bics manually. Just hope it's not too many of you out there.

Also, you can go into your nwnplayer.ini found in your Documents for Neverwinter Nights EE, and add your username there. Shouldn't run into a character limit with that. Though I do not have too long of user names to check against.

Tried this, it rejects the username when you try to log in.

To give an update, you can now use longer names to log in with, as such the issue is resolved. (For me, at least.)
