Your dog gets cold.

And wakes you up every single hour (needing to pee and thus going out) while you try to sleep in morning, before night shift.

Testing code for a change I'm putting in for customers and update to the latest version we have and keep running into an issue. I assume that it is on my end as such a terrible failure would suggest a host of developers just completely neglected a system for a weeks. Spend hours on it only to ping another dev and... yeah... it's not just me.

(1) Can we talk about politics in the grumpy thread?

(2) Can we talk about politics in the grumpy thread if it has something to do with how the situation is directly affecting you or a loved one?

A bunch of guys in DC are trying to severely tax me for tens of thousands of dollars that I do not earn. It would make my life financially impossible and I'm not sure what to do short of calling my senator and ranting. I'm grumpy.

My primary job is probably going to shut down because the workers are organizing a strike on christmas, our busiest day of the year, and the strike might last up to a week. I estimate we'll lose more than 20k in business that day alone, as its a movie theatre and we're getting the Star Wars premier.

We have 11 theatres in my cinema, and corporate has been slashing our hours repeatedly. They expect us to work the busiest day of the year on a skeleton crew of 5-7 people. One usher, one TA(delivers food), two servers, and the ticket counter guy. We were slammed last year and barely kept up with double that. Its not possible, its not reasonable, and its going to cost them. The workers are done being Snuggle a Bugbear with.

A girl at work wants to play The Petty Game. As I have had almost no sleep and hate everything right now, smart money would be on me.

I remain beleaguered by characteritis, Arelith FOMO, a desire to tell new stories, an uphill battle to make a splash, a fatigue of seeing level 3-12 dungeons for the 72nd time, a mixture of inspiration, apathy, and desire, more 15 minute sessions than I can count, and general confusion about why roleplaying seemed so much easier 5 years ago.

Rain, rain more rain always raining now three days in a row and not a little. And I'm biking into work, maybe I should skip showers in the morning to save some time if this keeps up.

I got a nosebleed on the way to the pharmacy yesterday, so people were looking at the guy who was loudly sniffling with a visibly bleeding nose, waiting in line for prescription drugs.

Wanting to continue my Brides of Cordor Quest - but for some reason Cordor is always empty of people )-:

(I hope people are enjoying it, It's just a gentle thing for me to run when and as I can, but finding time to run it, and people to run it for, seems to be harder than expected.)
This too shall pass.

(I now have a DM Discord (I hope) It's DM GrumpyCat#7185 but please keep in mind I'm very busy IRL so I can't promise how quick I'll get back to you.)

My wife stayed home from work yesterday with a bit of "drained and exhausted," didn't feel like doing anything but sleeping.

She gave it to me and I don't have the choice to get off work. So here I am with 3 double shot starbucks coffee can things.. struggling to keep my eyes open at work..

Love work, love training, boss wants to grind me to dust. Genuinely feeling like a beat up warbeast trying just to make it to the next one.

Phoenix, beautiful weather, no snow, not much green, not really cold. *sigh*

Try to keep the hype up, love characters, slightly obsess, don't want to seem like a creep.
Never sure which.

It is too hot in Canada for almost December! How can it still only get to 1 degree out (not to mention 15 yesterday!)? I want to wear my coat but its still to hot to wear anything heavier than my spring jacket or break out the quilts, no matter anything heavier than a tshirt!

Global climate change sucks :(

All I want for Christmas is a bit of snow~

It's dark in Finland, I'm doing my last week of learning from the job as nurse for disabled people far away from home (plus Arelith) and I miss my lovely french bulldogs who are currently under my parents care.

I'm glad that I will soon graduate in december so I can return home. Just one more push...
Then I can get a job which was promised. :)

It hasn't rained where I live in 183 days.

Actually, I don't remember the last time I even saw a cloud.
