Places where OOC is allowed?
Hi all,
I understand OOC is prohibited unless directly private messaging another player.
I have been reading the Arelith Wiki and player handbook, but sometimes it is cool to be able to ask experienced players stuff about the game and classes and such...
Where is OOC allowed in game, any special locations, guilds (if they exist in this game) etc...
Best Regards,
Charles

Re: Places were OOC allowed?
There are a few areas that are themselves OOC--the character creation area, and the areas that you sometimes wind up in when you log on to the wrong server (it's a small square map with nothing but a portal and a gravestone on it).
Also, messages within the -faction menu are OOC-only, as are tells. Aside from that, pretty much everything is IC on Arelith.

You can do that out of game on the Arelith Discord chat.CharlesK wrote: but sometimes it is cool to be able to ask experienced players stuff about the game and classes and such...

Re: Places were OOC allowed?
Tells, forums, Arelith discord, in game those are the only OOC places.
Even the death area is a IC place XD.
As said above send tells and we are all happy to help.

Re: Places were OOC allowed?
Just wanted to respond to this. So far I have played very little. Mostly getting used to game interface and exploring the city. I have engaged with in a few conversations just to RP a little and then in tell told the people I am new.Ebonstar wrote:send a tell anyone would be happy to assist you in anyway possible
All of them told me right away to ask if I had questions or needed help! I even got one "Awwwww" (I totally got the feel that it was as in: so cute! look a little puppy! Who is good noob, *scratches tummy*, here is a cookie)
I think I asked one or two questions for things that puzzled me, but I am not looking to join any groups or organizations yet until I have a bit of a better grasp of some basics.
The wiki and Forums are great.
This community appears to really rock!

Chuck
