Gas buddy app if getting gas and evacuating. It will update with who has gas local to you right now

Went shopping, got gas, just a few hours ago. No big deal in St Petersburg right now. One station was out, another had plenty and no lines. Even got food, and Aldi's had water.

Gas App ID is genius.

Be careful on your journeys, I've had almost everything go wrong.

1: Took the wrong turn so many times, ended up at farm in middle of nowhere.
2: Locked myself out of my hotel room.
3: Had my wallet stolen out of my purse and I didn't know until I got to the register.. (Clearly a high dex spawn on the loose.)
4: Traffic, ugh.
5: 200 miles left with just over half a tank. If only my car had wings. I think I will make it though.

I recommend leaving in the late of night to avoid traffic.
Please don't feed my sister.

We got lucky here in Puerto Rico

Irma hit us but only the south side of it.

I was worried about that thing hitting land with their north winds of over 180 miles

Electricity came back last night on my area, 60 percent with no electricity so far and around 20 with no water

Good luck to you all that lives in FL, my mom lives there as well

In fort Lauderdale area, getting winds around sixty or so but only in gusts. Rain is eh, but all in all feels like a trop storm. Its right near key West for the eye, so we will still get the outer bands for a few more hours. Miami and the east coast has to thank Cuba for guarding and throwing it into the mountains to knock the edge off.

Tampa, fort Myers and Naples will get a nastier dose than we will. Good luck to them!!

West Palm Beach.

House boarded up with shutters. Didn't really start getting noticeable wind until early this morning. Heavy rain, some hard wind-gusting. The storm track went far enough west that right now it's riding up the west coast.

Commie, which side of the panhandle? You should consider heading east for the day if you aren't already locked down, right now it's going straight for Tallahassee. Nowhere on the eastern Florida coast (at least not once you go far enough north to hit Palm Beach County) is presently expected to get sustained winds (1 minute or longer) higher than 75 mph.

Hurricane-force wind threat.

Current Storm Track + conditional warnings

STORM SURGE WARNINGS; this is important. This is the part most likely to wreck things that are otherwise safe. If you are in these zones as the storm continues to approach, please relocate.

Be safe, everyone.

Yeah if it hits here it's as a cat one and I'm plenty high up and inland.

Not that it matters, there's no where anywhere near the state that has a hotel vacancy and my Google maps is just showing huge delays in every direction. So if I scoot I may get stuck in the car.

Just gonna ride out the cat 1 here. Got food and water.

Played on Arelith most of today until our internet started blinking. Still have power and connection now. Bit blustery out. Eyewall will pass through Lakeland in an hour or two, then head to Palm Harbor and up toward the panhandle. Seems St Pete dodged another one. That said, the worst is yet to come, possible storm surge and higher winds over the next 3-6 hours.

Sitting pretty in NC. Looks like the storm has decided to more or less miss my state entirely. Best of luck to those in the path still.

Day after. Power just came back on, and no damage. I've heard from 50+ people in the area, same story, though some still without power.

I am sorry you guys are going through with this. I hope everyone will get back to their feet without much financial loss. but then again financial loss is recoverable and one should not get upset about it. it's the loss of life that is irreplaceable.

I work as a government accountant and I had to deal with FEMA paperwork once to get reimbursement for a natural disaster (nothing of that scale, mind you). The criteria, rules, regulations, and qualifications, are so convoluted and confusing that the board decided to accept and pay for the loss out of pocket and deal with the insurance, as this was cheaper than qualifying for FEMA reimbursement.

Good luck. Our prayers are with you.

Commie, they are being conservative. Mine came on in 12 hours. I know a lot of folks whose power came on today.

Power went out just north of Lauderdale at 5 pm. Still 300k without As of 7pm today. Pain in the butt but just a minor price to avoid winter. See everyone soon.

Whole chunks of West Palm Beach have power again. Internet service is up in a lot of places. Places without power are estimated to have power by Sunday night at the latest here, so the 17th.

Still no power at my house. :-/
