When you read the update thread and think to yourself, "Oooh, I benefit from that!" Totally selfish, but it's still so fulfilling.

I hate when updates make me wnat to make really really awful gimmick builds like 20 SD just because. And by hate I mean "ughhhh I REALLY wanna see what the 20 SD shadow looks like for funsies."

"... although mighty buttresses rise up out of its fathomless darkness..." - UD map room
I didn't know the word buttresses, so for a few seconds, my mind attempted to hobble something together, guessing at it's meaning and all you need to understand the result is to read the following three words:
Huntress
Actress
Buttress
To further elaborate, I have included a helpful illustration:

I didn't want to make a whole kudos for this.. so...
Circumstances from a wild mage's spell gone wrong led to the whole party being ''confused''.. so my character ended up murdering the whole group on a island and didn't have rights to the ship. Didn't have a lense or anything, so she was stalking around desperately asking her god for help...
Don't know if it was a DM or just pure, extreme luck, but she found a Resurrection scroll in a locked chest. That made me smile! :D THANK YOU, whoever! It led to some nice rp, too!

Coming back to the server having not played seriously for seven years, and not at all for three or four, and finding a painting depicting the best character I ever played made my heart skip a beat.
And generally seeing the care and love and amazing progress made on the server.

The drinkable spring in the SW-corner of the North-Darrowdeep area. I was heavily laden IC, and thirsty both IC and OOC. A white stag happened to walk past at just the right moment. Damn it looked good.

This makes me want to play a ridiculously inefficient villain who keeps trying but being absolutely horrendously built so he can't even win a fight against a level 3 - but goddamnit, he's passionate about villainy.
