Re: The small things that make you smile
A particularly evil chicken that is merely waiting for his chance to strike.
All the player made fixtures, equipment, and items that flesh out an already incredible world.
Whenever others join into the madness that is role play.
Anyone who has ever put up with one of my characters (especially the early ones).
Fishing pole fights. Yoink races. Hasted evil zombies. Pixie avenger.
Finding out, on quiet a day, that the entire layout for the Spires was turned to lava for fun and this is why ungodly lag was cast upon us all.
Running into a new area.
Running out of a new area with multiple red highlights following close behind.
Finding the hidden gems, sometimes literally, and searching for the next.
Reaching the next level while in the middle of a scene and realizing that I haven’t been on the grind for almost three days. Instead I’ve been hunkered down with a, then, unknown dragon and beef cake writing Triadic prayers or something similar.
Beating the shell game. Jumping overboard and surviving.
Trying to remember how many il’s were in Sirilil…ilil…il?
Finding other people who type out accents or odd verbal habits.
Finding people who understand said accents.
Reading the emotes of sneakers who my character can’t see.
Finding out the story of another character through multiple interactions or just eating up a story handed to me on a silver platter. With dipping sauce.
Finishing almost any smithing project after the 400th point.
Being rejected from a server because we’re at max capacity ^^
Falling asleep at the keyboard and waking up to find a considerate player poked a dm and an awesome dm forced my character out of game. Also just sleep in general.
Sexy Amadeo statue. Sexy Oghma statue. Statue of Dionysus.
Taking in a deep breath and enjoying life. Then snapping my line.
Fort Disappointment and all those other islets whose stone signs have survived.
Eating and drinking without the message window blowing up.
Naked dragon wrestling. As for who is naked. Yes.
The first time you meet the little girls and then, jokingly, scream like one.
Planning an event, expecting a few bodies, and then crashing a server.
All the art and ooc but ic journals.
Finding out I’m not spastic for not finding out how to get to through the locked door in Glorag Mur. Knowing that Bucket is a mass murder machine.
Watching five dragons argue among themselves and then mock Abzurr for being an over reacting silly muffin. Finding out there is a much bigger red dragon close by.
And if I got into all of the smiles I’ve gotten from individual players.
Well.
This might get a little too long.

The streetgang style conflicts between Deers and Wolverines on the roads from cordor, its always hilarious, sometimes an even fight one time, then some times slightly outnumbered, then another time 5 wolverine vs 1 dear like "I heard you was talkin' shit??" and then you go to cordor and come out again back on the way to the server and then you see 4 deers vs 1 wolverine like "This is for our boy!"

I am inspired to do a Deer-Wolverine war plot now.MissEvelyn wrote:This is goldenDiilicious wrote:The streetgang style conflicts between Deers and Wolverines on the roads from cordor, its always hilarious, sometimes an even fight one time, then some times slightly outnumbered, then another time 5 wolverine vs 1 dear like "I heard you was talkin' shit??" and then you go to cordor and come out again back on the way to the server and then you see 4 deers vs 1 wolverine like "This is for our boy!"
Please don't feed my sister.
Re: The small things that make you smile
First the wolverines tried the badgers and failed. It's natural they would go after the deer next.

If there's any DM who can do it, it would be you, Titania. Go for it.

Sounds like they need to join forces to invade Brog and overthrow the dwarves!DM Titania wrote:I am inspired to do a Deer-Wolverine war plot now.MissEvelyn wrote:This is goldenDiilicious wrote:The streetgang style conflicts between Deers and Wolverines on the roads from cordor, its always hilarious, sometimes an even fight one time, then some times slightly outnumbered, then another time 5 wolverine vs 1 dear like "I heard you was talkin' shit??" and then you go to cordor and come out again back on the way to the server and then you see 4 deers vs 1 wolverine like "This is for our boy!"
PLOT TWIST:
The dwarves have none of it and every single deer and wolverine finds themselves in the cookpot and the collective waistlines of the dwarves grow by three inches each.

When you discover new places.
A while ago now, back when I had discovered most of the regular pre-epic surface areas, I begin to explore the stonehold ruins. A cellar? Hadn't seen that before. Hmm, this cave is new to me... man this cave is huge (much sneaking and exploring ensued).

You think that is a typo, but Bane is Bae

I chuckle every time I see 'No Bane, No Gain.'
May you live in interesting times.
