I have dyslexia. I have to use spell check on everything and it's just embarrassing playing this game sometimes. (used spellcheck twice in that sentence above to correct letters in the wrong place.)
Owlbears are the only thing keeping Arelith from the D&D experience.

Back when I played Xanatos Ste'dwent, I approached Eva of Lightkeep, with a horde of pilgrim players around her...

Instead of typing "Dame Eva".... I addressed her as "Damn Eva"... I was blushing profusely behind the keyboard at that, as it was still within the first few months for me on Arelith. Great first impression.

Yup, "Lloth" is literally just regional drow dialect for "Lolth" that's most often used around the city/region of Menzoberranzan. Both is correct however.

To be precise, "Lolth" is her true name, but "Lloth" is the version of her name used in the cities of Menzoberranzan and Uluitur as supported by the following sourcebooks:
Drow of the Underdark, 2E, 1991
Menzoberranzan (Boxed Set), 2E, 1992
Demihuman Deities, 2E, 1998
And with the following in-universe explanation from R.A Salvatore in the novel "Exile":
Drizzt quietly recounted to Belwar the story of the [...] decision to forsake his kin and their evil deity, Lloth. Belwar realized that Drizzt was talking about the dark goddess the deep gnomes called Lolth, but he calmly let the regionalism pass. (Exi., P2:C7)

replace that "th" with "dd" and you're there.

My wife is a very skilled writer and RPer. She's leagues better than I am.

But she has the absolute worst spelling errors.

We were RPing in our previous RP community, and in the middle of combat RP she meant to type: "In the struggle, Mraeka is shoved backward and loses her balance, sitting on the floor."

What she actually typed was: "In the struggle, Mraeka is shoved backward and loses her balance, shitting on the floor."

My personal favorite is Armathor's now famous cra* picture. Pilgrims will flock to myon for years to see it.

Glad you never edited it!

For some reason I always spell "lever" as "elver". Yes I play elves.

Rosenkranz Ezekiel [Talk]: No. *He declares, seemingly apropos of nothing. His voice betrays little, his helmet less.* You were invited, and hospitality is important.
Rosenkranz Ezekiel [Talk]: Come; shit. *He motions to the benches - and even the thrones - with his left hand, curled as it is around a pitted iron globe.*
Rosenkranz Ezekiel [Talk]: ... sit.

sorry dyson
