Actually, the Oxford dictionary would beg to differ.

Direct citations, please. Webster's lists eyebrow as one of the definitions, and it's constantly used that way. I don't have an OED with me but it's implausible that it wouldn't list that as one of the definitions. Also note that British and American English are two different dialects.

I'm pretty sure he was saying the oxford dictionary agreed that eyebrow was one of the definition of brow.
Unless you were referring to the quote in your quote, which is just confusing.

For me it's also "thou vs thee". Subject vs object, people! I guess it's a little bit understandable since we don't distinguish the subject "you" and the object "you" in modern English, though we do distinguish "I", "they", "we", "she", and "he" from "me", "them", "us", "her", and "him".

Most people use "thy" correctly at least.

Somehow I'm not surprised this would turn into a thread about grammar.

When you want to get involved in a faction but then everyone wants to have super secret meetings behind closed doors all the time and you realize you are more waiting than rping because you didn't create a super secret rp situation and you prefer letting ppl get involved :(

I would murder enchantment basins if I could.

Also, yeah, the sin of the world is bad writing habits. The "would" thing needs to die in a hole.

I assume that these characters never actually do anything, but have a deep longing in their eyes.

Character names on the end of crafted items
No description on items crafted placed in public view.

    Enchanting basins
Rocketing off in a random direction every time I alt-tab back in
The horrifically tiny font and the tiny chat windows
    Getting stuck behind doors
    Getting ganked by summoned vampires
Servers crashing in the middle of emotional, heartwrenching RP
Devils to my left, driders to my right, stuck in the middle trying to -yoink 5 people and "Resting is not allowed here"
When the going gets tough, the tough hide under the table.

-Spending 2hrs RL to decide on a name for your new PC, 4hrs to decide on a build, make PC, realize you screwed up the AB points somewhere during the initial building and give up.

-'You have been ambushed by a party of drow!' drow ambusher: "Uhm."
    Me too bud. Me too.

-Spending an obscene amount of time mass producing some RP item, realize typos, or realize your 3am driven writing is the stuff of food processor waste and is barely coherent.

-Spot someone on the player list you've been trying to nab for a while, drop everything you're doing and run to get to the speedy, and then they immediately log off as you get there. Feels bad.

    -The forums.

-The abuse of the Tilda key. Stop it. Leave it alone. Tilda never did anything to hurt you.

-Putting a period at the end of a fixture name. I.e "A Statue."

When surface tourists run around in the middle of Andonur, thinking that they can harass the locals just because the drow can't assign peacekeepers to send their rear ends into the slave pits.
