I am happy with the harder line being taken towards people who have shown, time and time and time again, that they are unconcerned with rules and the enjoyment of the others on the server. I'm glad the kid gloves are off.

I will join my fellow players in expressing my sincerest thanks for all the hard work the Arelith administration and development teams are putting into it for us all to enjoy.
As such things go, upset voices are usually the loudest (and most repetitive!), but they do not represent the entirety of the playerbase.
That is why threads like this one here are important. Excellent work, OP.

It can be an ungrateful job to be a DM, but i hope this topic can at least bring a smile to your cheeks.
Thank you for your hard work and the consistent hours you pour into helping players of all kinds, even when dealing with serious health issues and other lifechanging real life events such as bringing a new human to the world.

I support this statement. +1. Thank you for keeping the show running.
I have not found a greater environment for my RP with my +3 UCT timezone. Arelith is wonderfully global, so its the first place i can wake up super-early and find the server full of people roleplaying. No longer am i forced to pull super-late nights for great RP. I can do the same by going to sleep early and waking up feeling great and refreshed in the morning. Thank you for making that online roleplayers dream a reality and all the hard work you have put behind Arelith.

I think Iron is Amazing for keeping Arelith going, The Dev's certainly for their everlasting improvements, I think Spyre needs a hug.
As for DM's some are better than others, Some I don't know well enough,
I guess each DM is amazing in his or her own way.
Though They likely have the hardest part of the cake.
As they are players aswell as DM they will often stand for hard choices.
((I couldn't do it, As player I already go beyond my character to help out random players, Imagion me with DM resources XD))
So, Cheers to that.

I am quite happy with the balance between freedom, enforcement and staff energy that has been put in place. Shifting towards sustaining staff energy is for the best. Engaged staff sustains servers, not a vocal few.

Ah man, I just figured out how to change my password, I probably haven't had access to the forums for about ~3-5 years. Me and a large group of friends play sporadically in Arelith, due to RL constraints between all of us. Just wanted to come say I, and all of them I'm sure, appreciate the work you guys do.
We come and go, but Arelith has always been waiting for us to come back when we are ready. I've been playing on Arelith for 10-12 years, and some of the people have been here longer. Saw the drama, had to give my two-cents, and that's just that we appreciate there being a little world away from the world out there that continues even when we become burnt out, and need a break. Speaking of which....we're back again
