Woodland Dreams (also a big post)

We will file suggestions here that did not make the cut. Don't expect detailed responses, but the most common reasons are:
- implementing the suggestion is impractical, or too much work for the gain
- the suggestion is thematically against our design philosophy
- the suggestion is too detailed/low-level
Keep your suggestions broad and focused on RP benefits, please, not detailed suggestions of how to tweak X class.

Woodland Dreams (also a big post)

Juan Rodriguez strolls casually through the forest, venturing boldly into its deepest niches. It takes him a while to notice that the golden leafs have stopped falling and, when he looks up, he notices that the roof of the forest is now a bright crimson red. Still he carries on, heeding not the sudden, eerie silence that has settled in.
His eyes feel heavy and his legs weak and it is only when he feels bark against his skin that he stops, not quite believing what he sees.
A tree trunk, as wide as several houses of men and as tall as the mightiest elven tower, its enormous branches spreading in all directions, covering the forest as a whole for many miles.
So dumbfounded is Juan, that he does not notice the slowly aproaching, massive shadow of a colossal grizzly bear.

Aaaand..another place that has not seen major changes in a good while and that could perhaps also benefit from some fresh air.

Main ideas for this suggestion:

-The Dreaming Tree becomes the new center of the Heartwood Grove.

-The Tree itself would be a lot larger, and imposing, its roots, branches and offspring present throughout most of the forest.

-It would be moved into some more distant and deeper part of the forest.

-The Grove itself would be located on top of the tree, spreading through its many branches with wooden walkways.

-Quarters and temples would be built either into hollow portions of the tree, or parts of it that naturaly suited it,or were magicaly shaped into such forms.

-Druids and rangers would still be the only ones able to reach its central core.

-Druids and rangers would also have access to a network of paths that cover most of the forest, including Myon, being able to drop down, climb up, and pop out of trees, tree stumps, roots and shrubs, all connected to the Dreaming Tree.

-The current location could exist in a fashion, specialy its own tree, but I’d merge the cave with the cricket one, and flood most of it by expanding the glades.
