Could the way awards are redeemed be changed? Sometimes you make a mistake on a character and, even if it's just a normal, it sucks to give up a character only to have to remake without the reward (or hope the devs take pity on you). My suggestion is that award redemption be moved to the end of the entry dialog window instead of the beginning, or that a dialog option such as "Are you sure you want to spend your award?" be shown at the end of the window. Another possibility could be a lever which returns your gift to you and deletes your character if you're level 3 or below?
