Spellsword: INT dmg instead of elemental dmg
I thought it was neat the general damage boost tied to intelligence modifier also helped out when polymorphed, so my suggestion is to keep that kind of mechanic and instead remove the elemental damage bonus of 1d4, 1d8 and 1d12 for tiers 1, 2 and 3 respectively (but keep the damage and effects that only apply on a failed save).

Spellsword damage applying to wielded weapons rather than unarmed or polymorphed shapes is a feature, not a bug.
