In light of this, show the maximum level allowed for each writ, so that parties can avoid taking a writ that cannot make progress, without having to waste a daily writ slot. It's an OOC based inconvenience, so I think some OOC information is a reasonable way to prevent annoyance.
Ex:
Kill Some Rats! (500gp) [Maximum Level: 4]
"A member of your party..."

An upcoming update will show a quest's level range in both the quest-giver's dialog, and on the description of the writ.
