Torches and Lanterns - Broad Functionality

Given the move to NWN EE and the darker standard lighting and the possibility of Haks at a future date. Please consider the following functionality:-

- Use of Off hand torch and lantern models.
- Torches and lanterns to have limited rather than unlimited duration.
- Torches to benefit from grenade functionality allowing them to be thrown to illuminate an area briefly before guttering out.
- Lanterns can be deployed at feet.
- A torch or lantern that runs out of duration / fuel needs to be reignited.
- A torch or lantern that runs out of duration / fuel in an underground setting is a modifier for an ambush style encounter check.
- Underdark modifier: Drow rangers gain ability to sense torch / lantern activity in current and adjacent areas.
- Craftable lanterns, mundane and mystical.

Light sources offering such functionality would be a risk / reward consideration. Carrying a light source runs risk of attracting other players or monsters - which might be additional challenge.

Also, I am really enjoying the sense of Adventure in the server environment at this time. Adding mundane and mystical light functionality would help to foster and encourage roleplay during dungeoneering and allow DM's to ratchet up the darkness / scare factor during DM dungeon events.
