My best suggestion for "Bestow curse" spell

Upon failing the saving throw, this spell imposes a temporary "No damage" effect upon the targets' equipped weapons that lasts 1 round per caster level.

Its not a bad Suggestion..

But unfortunetly it won't work as You want it. The "No damage" property will only negate the weapon damage itself.. so lets say 1d8 for a sword.
All other damage modifiers like +ST +Essence +Damage (from damask for example) +Imbues, + Sneak Attacks... etc etc.. will still be valid and damaging as normal.

The maximum -damage which is allowed to apply is -5 which also won't stop High ST characters, nor all of the remaining +damage modificators on a weapon.

You can test this yourself in a toolset - create a module with a creature, give it a weapon and try to add the "no damage" property on it, will still be able to damage You.

Blame Bioware :)
