The Weaver (Sorcerer Path)

The Weaver

Weavers usually have some draconic or outsider heritage. Their magic blood allows them to mimic spells and abilities only by focusing on the one casting it. Even tought they can't memorize many types of attacks at same time, they can aways replace their currently known ones, being a very dynamic adventurer.
They often become adventurers and try to test themselves on the unknown, seeking powerful and ancient spells to learn.

A Weaver is a path for sorcerers (creaton only), with the following changes:

Familiar:
Loses Familar.

Spells Known:
When leveling a special dialog appears and the Weaver must choose ONE spell for each spell circle they can use, then they lose all other spells selected.

Special command: [-mimic] or [-mimic 0~9] (enables click target option)
The Weaver enters in a mode similar to Counterspell, doing nothing except focusing on the target. When the target casts a spell or uses an ability, the character makes a Spellcraft check to identify it and a Lore check to learn it (DC = 10 +Spell Circle, +10 DC if not arcane). This also works for Spell-Like abilities.
It's also possible to mimic a monster ability (DC = 20 +MonsterHD). Monster Abilities can only be stored in the slots of 5th Circle and above. It will not work on scripted abilities, like the Dragon's Wing (spam).

Mimic Slots:
The Weaver have one "slot" to store "special spell" of each circle he can cast.

Special command: [-cast 1~9] (enables click target option)
Casts the "stored" spell in the respective slot, hooking the character's CL for all variables. Using this command will consume one spell per day of the respective spell circle (-cast 3 consumes a 3rd circle spell). If no spells avaiable for that circle, the command fails to execute.

Special command: [-forget 1~9]
This command clears the respective slot, allowing a new ability to be learned.

Sequencer (Character Token):
At level 10, the Weaver can attune itself to a specific spell and can use it spontaneously one time per day per each 10 Base Lore (Rank, INT, Feats, Background, Gift, Class Bonus, Race Bonus). At Caster Levels 20 and 30, the Weaver can attune to one extra spell. Resume below:
•Number of uses: [Base Lore ÷ 10]
•Cooldown: [3600s ÷ Spellcraft]
•Caster Level 10: Sequencer (1 Spell)
•Caster Level 20: Sequencer (2 Spells)
•Caster Level 30: Sequencer (3 Spells)

Not affected by Wild Magic zones.

Spell Components:
The Weaven do not use Spell Components, as it uses magic in it's own blood. However, when casting a spell or using -cast, for each spell component that would be used it takes 5 Magic Damage. Non arcane abilities incurs extra 10 Magic Damage. Monster Abilities incurs damage depending on the type. Resume below:
Arcane Spells:
•7th: 5 Magical Damage
•8th: 10 Magical Damage
•9th: 15 Magical Damage
Non-Arcane Spells:
•1st~6th: 10 Magical Damage
•7th: 15 Magical Damage
•8th: 20 Magical Damage
•9th: 25 Magical Damage
Monster Abilities:
•Dragon Breath, Pulse: 35 Magical Damage
•Aura: 25 Magical Damage
•Bolt: 15 Magical Damage
•Others: 20 Magical Damage

Regeneration:
The magic imbued blood allows the Weaver to heal faster than usual. Regeneration 1 is granted starting at Caster Level 1. At Caster Level 7 and every 7 Caster Levels above that, it increases it by +1.
•Caster Level 1: Regeneration 1
•Caster Level 7: Regeneration 2
•Caster Level 14: Regeneration 3
•Caster Level 21: Regeneration 4
•Caster Level 28: Regeneration 5

Using -mimic:

● Mimic checks if the spell being cast is already known by the Weaver. If not, and the Weaver succeeds in learning the ability, proceed.

● If -mimic was used (without numbers), it will store the spell in the lowest avaiable slot it. So when observing a Spell Breach, it will use the 4th slot if avaiable, and if not, will check for the 5th and so on.

● If -mimic 0~9 was used, it will only store the spell if the specified slot is free. It can, however, use the specified slot to store a lower circle spell (ex: a 9th slot to store a Magic Missed...).
