Yet the special Druid Sickle has a forging DC of 39, meaning a total investment into forging is pretty much required to create it. Perhaps change it to be forgeable by anyone, but wieldable only by druids, with a high UMD requirement? It doesn't seem very RP friendly to make your druid a master smith for this one thing only. The druid disdains the use of large metal weapons that are heavily worked or cover their body. Metal is a naturally occurring substance as any other, in being reworked it is disrupting the natural function of metal
Or lower the DC significantly but keep the epic druid smith requirement?
Or change it to another discipline entirely. Alchemy/Carpentry.
Or make the blade itself a forgeable part, to be used in Carpentry to assemble the whole thing. So that you may outsource the forgey bits to non-druids, but only druids can complete the sickle.
Anything really, don't want to have to make a smithy druid for a sweet-Snuggybear bush-restoring sickle.
