Can we make it so it doesn't hurt the party?
My low level Wild Mage got lucky and got an earth elemental monolith surge, GREAT!
We got confined in a small area and it earthquaked the whole party and killed us all in one shot, NOT SO GREAT!
Can we make it so earthquake doesn't TPK folks maybe?
