Whirlwind - Heavy Flail of Akadi (And other elemental lords)

Post by WanderingPoet » Sat Jun 24, 2017 6:50 am

Like the various race specific weapons, I think it'd be great to help fill out some of the 'less optimal weapons' with some deity weapons like the Llothite one. Whether or not it is craftable is less important than the weapon itself. If this is interesting I'm more than willing to come up with a description, just let me know!

Whirlwind
Type: Heavy Flail
Properties
Runic
Enhancement Bonus +4
Damage Bonus vs Elementals +1d6 Divine // For fighting Grumbar, or the other elemental lords
Keen
Dex Bonus +1
1 Use/day of Gust of Wind DC 25
Attempt to keep it inline with the other special weapons, main damage bonus is just elementals but the runic allows for two elements - Gust of wind is fitting for Akadi

And for fairness, the other Elemental lords - though if anyone plays a follower of these gods they're more than welcome to adjust them.

Grumbar
Stone Fist
Type: Warhammer
Properties
Runic
Enhancement Bonus +4
Damage Bonus vs Elementals +1d6 Divine // For fighting Akadi/etc
Massive Critical 1d6
Con Bonus +1
1 Use/day of Greater Stoneskin CL 15
Same idea as Akadi but massive critical instead of keen, gives greater stoneskin for the stonegod

Kossuth
Tendril of Flame
Type: Whip
Properties
Runic
Enhancement Bonus +5
Damage Bonus vs Elementals +1d6 Divine// For fighting Istishia/etc
Str Bonus +1
On hit Combust DC 20
Same idea as Akadi but since whips are rather weak the combust gives it on hit-burn people damage but it still isn't very high damage

Istishia
Whirlwind
Type: Warhammer
Properties
Runic
Enhancement Bonus +4
Damage Bonus vs Elementals +1d6 Divine// For fighting Kossuth/etc
Keen
Dex Bonus +1
1 use/day Drown DC 25
Same idea as Grumbar but keen instead of massive critical - I was thinking drown on hit but the damage bonus on Arelith makes it a bit strong, so just a more powerful drown to actually have it succeed sometimes

Laughter, encouragement, play - not simply just for fools.
These tools reveal,
More is learned,
From another in an hour of play,
Than in a year of contention.
