Spellsword INT damage

Post by one day remains » Sun Sep 17, 2017 8:11 pm

Is spellsword damage always bludgeoning?

If so I assume it's safe to say that it doesn't stack other bludgeoning damage (masterly damask or weapon enchantments).

Is this is the case is this an oversight we can expect a change too?

I was under the impression it doesn't overlap?

If it does then that's great.

Edit: Didn't see the top image somehow... Clearly it works. Thanks Iceborn.

For the no overlapping thing, you're thinking about damage bonuses such as the one a raging barbarian gains (piercing damage): they're applied to the weapon and, rather than stack up, only the higher bonus of a specific type applies.

Spellsword INT damage is -not- a temporal weapon buff: it applies directly to your character sheet without modifying the weapon. Seems like that's all the difference it takes to make it work nicely.
