Leveling misshap?

Hello there, so first off I'd love to say happy to experiment in the realms again. It's been many years since I jumped on NWN. That said, oddly enough when I joined with my high level priest, (and I was surprised my character was still assessable) they were reduced to starting level, when I selected them they were I believe level 18, then I entered the server and I was reduced down. Is this per usual?
Then I rejoined with my lvl 17 commoner and they retained all their levels, and happily their gold.

So I'm just a bit confused at the discrepancy between the two characters.

I think this usually happens when characters have to go through multiple forced relevels without having logged on for awhile. If you send a message to the "Active DMs" group they should be able to help. I think.

The class has been changed in a way that affects feat progression. Thus you need to relevel. You will still retain your experience

Known, unaddressed bug. I've posted it and tried to keep a record of it here.

If your character is hit with multiple re-level requirements (because you had not played them actively / many forced relevels were pushed) it can cause the system to hit level 2 and stay there as the next is applied and wants to keep you at 1000 experience.

If this is the case, report it to the Active DM with the screenshot and timeframe and they can review and restore lost experience.
