Not entirely unrelated follow-up question :P

Hey all..again. Another question that relates to my previous post: Is there any way to prevent leveling for a time? Would it be feasible/within the rules to relevel and simply hold the level I don't want to surpass? Since the -losexp command is disabled I can't think of another way to do it. The passive exp just comes in so quickly..are there any problems associated with holding a level? Once again your assistance is much appreciated :D

No issues at all holding a level! You are welcome to not level up.

Keep in mind that it will alter your portrait until you do so, so you won't be able to target yourself with abilities by clicking on your portrait.

This will prevent you from gaining -any- experience until you do though, including passive exp. Though you also won't lose any from your adventure xp pool, either.

Thank you for the info, that's good to know :)

The only time that holding a level can be bad (and I mention this purely for completion) is there is... (or was?) a bug associated with -relevel where if you logged off whilst level 1, you stood a chance to loose your inventory. However, that is just level 1, so I very much doubt it'll effect you.

I do know about the level 1 issue, but I appreciate the advice regardless. Always good to know as much as possible.

Worth noting that if the level you want to hold on is specifically level 19 in order to stay on Skal, that XP-lock is applied for you if you do a Skal start and do not speak to a writ-giver on the mainland or the guy on the boat off Skal.
