There are no special requirements to take a screenshot in game. One merely hits the 'print screen' button and the image is saved to the NWN Screenshots folder. To view the resultant image requires a TGA viewer, of which there are many.

Alternately hit ctrl+c then ctrl+v the copied screen into paint.

I use Puush. It's handy for linking stuff directly in the browser. http://puush.me/

Hotkeys crtl + shift + 1 to 4.

Xfire and dropbox are alright enough for me, though i heavily dislike the newest xfire layout. Also crashes a lot..

XnConvert
This handy program will let you select multiple .tga files at once and convert them to a format of your choice such as .jpg.

XnView
And this one will let you view .tga files in the same manner double clicking a .jpg does. It does run a bit slower than Windows Image viewer, but that can't view .tga. I personally only have XnView assosiated with .tga files.
