I do not use NWN through Steam. I downloaded these:
https://neverwintervault.org/project/nw ... th-changes
And put them into the "hak" folder in my NWN directory. Thus far nothing seems different--I went to the Shadow Plane and everything is in color. Am I doing something wrong?
How do I manually install the haks?

Re: How do I manually install the haks?
There are brief installation instructions on the vault page. I recommend reading the link posted to the Beamdog forums about patch haks.
More thorough instructions, if needed, are posted here in the Arelith forums in my stickied post. viewtopic.php?f=18&t=17682#p165255

Yes, this conversation is about those overrides, and not about the haks the server is distributing through NWsync (at which point they are no longer .hak files anyways)
These ARE .hak files, which is an NWN resource container, in this case containing files used as overrides. This is more solid and reliable than dropping thousands of files into override, especially if you already have thousands of files in override and thousands more on Steamworkshop's "fake" override.
