yoink a slave?
The slave master says that slaves can be yoinked by the master. Is that correct?
If yes, how do you do it? There is nothing on the wiki.

Re: yoink a slave?
There are 'Slave Caller' NPCs located somewhere in the three servers who can yoink slaves, not just your own slaves, but any slave currently online. They should be relatively easy to find.

Re: yoink a slave?
No, you have to go and talk to the NPC.
Re: yoink a slave?
It costs 500gp. Don't forget that.
Plays: Durvayas(deleted), Marco(deleted), Hounynrae(NPC), Sinithra Auvry'ndal(rolled), Rauvlin Barrith(Active), Madeline Clavelle(Shelved)
Re: yoink a slave?
I have never been on the receiving end of this mechanic. Does it work just like -yoink, where the recipient can accept/decline the summons, or because they are a slave do they not have a choice?

They have no choice.
This too shall pass.
(I now have a DM Discord (I hope) It's DM GrumpyCat#7185 but please keep in mind I'm very busy IRL so I can't promise how quick I'll get back to you.)

Re: yoink a slave?
What is the explanation for this? If the slave belongs to Andunor it makes perfect sense. But if the slave has a master, why would anyone be able to use yoink?
I could summon slaves belonging to a character that is my enemy IC, which doesn't really make much sense.

Re: yoink a slave?
I need to make a disclaimer that I am not, nor have ever been, a Dev. So I've no idea what the actual developer reason for this is.
At a guess though I would say it
a) Means that the player can in theory still get slave RP even when their 'owner' isn't around.
b) encourages the 'proper' rp of a slave.
Which is to say that they are an 'underclass' that can be, in theory, bullied around by anyone.
Otherwise you're in a position where you can get characters who are 'slaves' but if their owner never logs in, then really there's absolutly 0 mechanical drawback.
Right now if I play a slave character who goes around say, IDK, insulting the Priestesses of Lolth then I know that said lolthite can just summon me to a slave pit and deal with me there.
