Picking up fixtures

Is there any way to pick up fixtures like barrels, now that -pickup_fixture is disabled? They give no dialog on interaction.

Maybe we can apply for -pickup_fixture tokens or RPR lock it.

That would be great. Why was it disable? Can we know? I used it all the time.

It was disabled due to a mass griefing where we had to roll back the database to fix it.

We will continue to consult it and will enable / tweak when ready.

Oh, alright, I had been just about to put up another post asking why and can we have it back. I am a fixture fiend, I must have as many tools as possible!

Me too. Sorry hear people were griefing! I feel like many people do the opposite of griefing with their fixtures around island. Looking forward these commands return!

Two paintings in the Nomad that have to be set at a weird angles to be partially visible, and the one on the left is part of the beam. None of them can be picked up, you can't access it's menu. Surely there's a more elegant solution than this.

I think locking it to RPR is a good idea. At 20 RPR, a lot of people would be able to use it still. If someone abuses it, cut their RPR down to 10.

The DMs do still have access to this command, you can ping the DM Channel in game (once is fine, we do have a log history of the chat!) and if one of us is available we can scoop it and place it in an inventory or a more accessible location depending on the issue.

An alternative (but not always the best solution for some depending on craft skills) is that things like barrels/armoires/and crops is that you can bash, pick up the remains, and move them, repair and voila it's been moved.
There are certain items like rugs that are no longer craftable and therefor cannot be repaired. So don't bash them if you don't want to lose them.

What kind of time are we talking about? That command was a godsend for moving house.

15 seconds range. No more than a minute would be considered - we don’t want to inconvenience everyone.
