Protection from spells (save)

Post by Kenuninhoo » Mon Jan 21, 2019 10:06 pm

Hello,

When i hit cap of save - protection from spell /cap is 20/, does save vs fear, save vs death and other save like statuses from unique items such as seargant cloak still contribute? 60 spellcraft with ward (protection from spell) should hit cap 20.

Thank you for your help guys!

if i'm understanding your question, yes. save vs fear, death, and others counts towards the +20 cap. here's a wiki page for more info.

I explained myself wrong. I did capped spell save already. I just don't know if any further save bonus from items, such as save vs fear from seargant cloak further contributes to this capped save. Hopefully I explained it well. English is not my main language.

Thanks in advance.

If you have already hit the save cap of +20 then no extra bonus from items and the like will increase your save further. So the answer is no, it does not.
