[solved] Reenabling Notebooks when exporting char

Post by Huschpfusch » Sun Jan 13, 2019 12:07 pm

Is there a way to make the notebooks work again after having exported characters from Arelith to different campaigns such as Single Player or just extract the texts from it somehow? :?

The notebook is nothing but a database link. That information is stored on Arelith's server and retrieved each time you "open" it. Exporting the character doesn't bring the data with it.

If you want to save the data, you'll have to copy it out while connected to Arelith. The easiest way is to turn on chat logging and read all of the notes within, then copy out the text from the log file.

Ehrm... oopsie... already deleted the characters.
But so going to do that chat-log-read-extract for the next time - big thank you for information
