Permanent Essence

Permanent Essence
Can you add a Permanent essence to a weapon and then enchant with bonus damage after so they both stay? Or will they always cancel each other out?
My family were all knights,but none protected those who cannot fight for themselves.They all cared about their noble status more than anything else.I would be a true knight,i would train on the ways of the paladin -Arcavius Ryde

A permanent essence will replace any elemental damage on the weapon. Enchanting will not. You're safe as long as you enchant after you put the essence on.
