Character Remake with same name

If I delete my character and then remake him with the same name will this permanently mess up my character if i do not wait for the reset?

You should be able to do that, but we recomend you wait for a reset inbetween the deletion, and the remake.

So -delete character.
Wait for the servers to reset
Then remake, using the same name if you wish.
This should be fine. Wierd things only happen when you delete and remake in quick order.

Also - random aside - remember to delevel down to below 16 if your character is above that, to prevent you from getting an award.

It's common among those impatient to add a space or change a single character in the name, so that it's unique. I strongly advise against adding a space though, since that can cause issues with item/fixture ownership tags and speedy messengers.
