Cloak/Shoulder model bug

For some reason my game is bugging out the shoulder and cloak models when I edit/remove them, making them stay or not appear at all. Is anyone else experiencing this, and does anyone know the fix for it?

I and several others get this as well. From what I understand, it's a universal bug caused by EE which is impossible to fix client-side.
Currently the only way to temporarily fix it is to log out and log back in.

Mounting/dismounting a horse will also fix it.
