Double weapon feats

A while ago (before the switch to EE) I read some where on the forums about the Idea that weapon feats for double weapons would also count for their 1 handed versions, E.g. Weapon spec double sword would grant Weapon spec long sword and so on. Is this still something being considered/ is it in the timeline and just hasn't been implemented yet? As it makes sense that someone who practices with a double weapon could use their one handed versions and have spent a extra feat in exotic weapon proficiency to learn how to use two one handed weapons joined together by a stick.

Not in the pipeline as far as I know. Double weapons are in a good spot now.
