I'm sure many of you have seen the issue where when you attempt to alt tab, NWN can still be displaying on the screen but none of the GUIs buttons work.
On Windows 7 this can be fixed by pressing Alt-Tab a few more times until you've selected the game again.
On Windows 8.1 this doesn't work though. NWN continues to have an unresponsive GUI and attempting to walk around with the keys or mouse don't work. Does anyone know a solution to this? As it is now the second I minimize NWN the only way to get back to the game is to open the task manager, kill it, and restart it(since I can't exit from in the game)

Re: Windows 8.1, Minimizing NWN
Nope, does not happen to me on W8.1.
The few times it's somehow gone unresponsive, alt+enter a few times and it's good again.
ALT + Enter forces windowed mode/fullscreen, depending on which one it is on currently.
I /guess/ the reason might be that I start NWN windowed, then fullscreen it as I get into game. I switch between the two modes /a lot/, and only about 1-5% of those are unresponsive GUI, until fullscreen exits again.

One must have window mode enabled for that to work, Cihparg. As I cannot recall how to do that, perhaps you could explain it?

Ah, right. Forgot about that!
1. Go to NWN's install directory.
2. Open up nwn.ini
3. Scroll down to [Display Options], and change FullScreen to 0 and AllowWindowedMode to 1.
