Feat Questions
Hello again!
I was looking over the NWN wiki and had a couple questions with feats and classes.
Does Extra Turning have to be taken on a Paladin/Cleric/Blackguard level like Divine Might and Shield? Or is merely having levels in the class enough?
Also, I didn't see the feats Improved Will, Great Fortitude and Lighting Reflexs on the Champion of Torm feat list, or their epic variants on their epic feat list? Am I right to assume they not get these at option then, despite them being general feats?
Finally, do those save increasing feats and their epic variants stack?
Sorry for all the questions..
Thanks in advance!

Re: Feat Questions
Save feats all stack infinitely, or till you run out of feats.
Uses of Turn Undead is defined by your CHA modifier+3, assuming your CHA mod is 10, you'd have 13 uses, with Extra Turning, it becomes 19, it's a significant addition.
Divine Might/Shield has to be taken with paladin/cleric/blackguard.

Re: Feat Questions
Does Extra Turning also need to be taken on paladin/cleric/blackguard levels?
Or is having the Turn Undead ability all you need?
Example, could I take Extra Turning at level 12 with a general feat while leveling in Champion of Torm or Fighter, assuming I already have the ability to Turn Undead via one of the three classes?

Re: Feat Questions
You need to take it on a paladin/cleric/blackguard level, yes.
Re: Feat Questions
It's listed in the Wiki for both Fighter and CoT as an unavailable feat when taking a level of either.

Re: Feat Questions
Not sure about your first question; i rarely build with those classes. Pretty sure you need to take them with the appropriate class level (cleric/bg/paladin), but i'm not 100% sure.
Question 2? You're able to get the improved save feats with fighter/CoT's, but not as their bonus feat. The extra-feat-every-2-levels is taken off a list that is pretty much exclusive to combat-related feats with a few general feats like toughness.
All feat related bonuses stack on top of each other. The only feat-related weirdness with saves are blackguards. If you have a negative CHA value, you get an appropriate penalty added to your saves.

Re: Feat Questions
The CoT save-boosting feat also counts as part of your +20 cap to saving throw increases (along with spells, spellcraft, items, etc).

Only Paladin or Cleric. Blackguard gets no love.Red Sunset wrote:You need to take it on a paladin/cleric/blackguard level, yes.

Re: Feat Questions
Does the bonus from Cha from the Paladins ability also count towards that +20 cap?

Re: Feat Questions
No it doesn't count. Blackguard's cha bonus also doesn't count.taoofbalance wrote:Does the bonus from Cha from the Paladins ability also count towards that +20 cap?
