So I was speaking with somebody about this feat and I wondered what are the actual merits on Arelith of having such a feat? does it do anything beyond the +4 to skills? it seems a little hubristic to actually take such a feat. I dare say there are quite a number of characters that could be given this for free.
I am interested to hear if it does anything beyond stroke the ego ?

The rumor is that certain NPCs will act differently if you have the feat, but I can neither confirm that, nor which NPCs might do so.

Epic Reputation provides both the feat given skill increase, plus marks a PC as nobility.
Castles / other NPCs will interact with these people differently and provide additional benefits.

Let's Amedeo, [Whom I think we can all agree has a fairly epic reputation on the server] takes this feat, but whom is in all fairness, no any sort of nobility. How would that affect the character? Do you somehow get elevated to nobility? And by 'Whom?' Cordor?

To be fair, the first definition of nobility is in regards to being of noble character, the second definition is to be part of the aristocracy, so there might have been some confusion there.
