Why does H&H not get piety for using healing kits?

Can somebody please explain this? only from potions and not kits..

i.e. helping yourself and not others, doesnt make any sense. and all it means is i need to stop every few feet to use up every healing potion/life saver salve bag that ive picked up to try and maintain some semblence of having piety.

There's no script hook that checks for the use of a healing kit, unfortunately.

It is not.

EDIT: Because there exists no way for a script to check to see if an object used was a healing kit, it's not possible. Sadly there is also no way to check to see if the last projectile in a stack was fired from the projectile slot. Just NWN limitation(s).

Is it not possible for it to check on how much HP was given to a PC/NPC ? and base it off of that value?

Not without a heartbeat script that checks for hp change each round or w.e, which would be intensive, but even then you wouldn't be able to tell who healed them up with the kit.

Maybe EE will add an event, but, it'll be quite a way away, if ever. (Still waiting on the enhanced part! )

There are some changes in the works with regard to piety gain and balancing out aspects (Since there's only a couple that're really viable for piety gain); so hopefully they'll be done soon!
