Does the armor bonus from the Ankheg items stack?

Some of the Ankheg shell items have armor bonus vs slashing as an enchantment. Do these bonuses stack with each other over multiple ankheg items? Or does it just apply the highest armor bonus available?

I ~think that would depend on the ac-type. Only dodge stacks with itself. What are the items in question?

For instance, ankheg chitin shield and ankheg chitin helmet.
Ankheg chitin shield:
Armor bonus vs slashing +5
Armor bonus +2
Damage immunity acid 5%
Damange immunity piercing 10%
Ankheg chitin helmet:
Armor bonus vs slahsing +4
Armor bonus +2
Damage immunity acid 5%
Damage imminuty bludgeoning 10%
If I would have both of these items equipped and face an opponent with a slashing weapon, would they give me +5 AC only?

This is an educated guess:
Shield is armor ac and helmet is deflection, so they should stack.
I don’t know for sure, though.

I'm somewhat sure that it would use +2 ac versus everything but if the creature or player is using a slashing weapon like a scimitar it uses the +5 instead.

No. Shield gives shield-type AC, helmet gives deflection-type AC, so those two items would give you a whopping +9 vs slashing -- and +4 vs everything else, as has been pointed out.

The ac bonuses don't stack as explained above. The % immunity against acid does stack, however

% damage immunities stack across items/other sources.

Oh. Lets say theres an item like this
+2 AC
+5 AC vs Slashing
Its going to use the highest value when applicable. Its not going to be a +7 vs slashing; it'll be +5, ignoring the original generic +2 value. Other than that, the AC will combine with other AC sources like any other item (ie: +5 vs slashing on armor will stack with +5 vs slashing on a shield for +10 vs slashing)
