Crrow to Parrot

My guy, Bohemund, would very much enjoy having a parrot familiar, instead of the crow one.

Is that possible IG? If not, how about having a DM change for me? Is it allowed?

Custom changes to your characters are normally handled through the reward system (http://wiki.arelith.com/Epic_Sacrifice).

Without using a reward, only rangers and druids can get parrots as companions or summons, through a totem (http://wiki.arelith.com/Druid#Totem_animal)

I'm not sure if wiz/sorc familiars would be affected by a totem if you crossclassed to ranger later and took the totem then.

they are not
