"Crashed hard"

My character is currently stuck on the transition leading to the area north from the endless battleground in Minmir (unfortunately I don't have the name ready), meaning that it crashes everytime I login and the area loads.

I've already turned off all sorts of fancy graphic, and I'll continue with trying to remove all overrides and the like.

But I'm a little dumfounded either way, this is the first time I have this kind of issue. I haven't had any trouble with any other area, except this one, and my characters get around a lot.

Anyone else with this problem? Tips?

Alternatively, is there any way to remove that character from its current location? I thought logging in during a reset might be a solution, so the character gets booted to a different server, but I can't watch the servers 24/7.
