As the title may or may not give away, I am wondering why killing creatures with traps does not award experience points? I figured someone may have asked this before, but after a search on the forum I came up empty handed, and thus this post.
From my point of view, I have very little reason for it to be due to anything other than scripting/coding limitations, however, I may be wrong.

My guess is it's something with traps since if you die to NPC traps I notice you don't lose xp.
