- English - HEAD START
- Error: 3221225781 = had to install openAl
- start as administrator but also allow for the network type you are using (home, work, public)

Now I face an other "problem": I pay NWN on an external hard disc
- beamdog client works from HD = ok
- beamdog created a new folder "Neverwinter Nights" under "my documents" (I never use this folder)
=> How can I redirect NWN EE to my old/original NWN folder (on my hard disc)?
While possible in some circumstances. You don't want to do this.

For the circumstances where it's supported you can edit the nwn.ini file in your My Documents/Neverwinter nights folder and edit the paths to your old 1.69 install.
=> Is it possible and recommended to integrate the now existing two versions of NWN? (e.g. changed files like player.ini)
Not really..
I know that over the years I did some file changes following instructions on the forums... I would try to keep them.
Is there anything new in the new "Neverwinter Nights" folder or would it be enough to redirect NWN EE to the old folder? /
While you might be able to just copy your nwnplayer.ini from your 1.69 install to your my documents/neverwinter nights folder it will be better to edit the one found in your my documents/neverwinter nights folder directly.
(I fear I should have clicked somewhere: "search for existing game" by installing... re-install?)
You didn't.

Click it.
Thanks abunch!

This is really a bad beginning for me. I am not sure I can pass all the exams of EE. I haven't even managed to play yet. If this continues, I dare not think of the future. Time will show ...

I have solved my issue. At least I don't have to fear that I will be unable to play when the switch-over happens!

Advanced Frame-Buffer Effects:
The worst culprit is *Enable Depth of Field* option.
Second is *Enable Ambient Occlusion*.

By turning both of these off EE runs as smooth as regular NWN.
