How far does the (imagined) cloud of darkness around the Dreadnought reach?
1. Only the ship?
2. Including boarded enemy ships side on side with the Dreadnought? (This would be good for some races to participate in ship rp. During ship travels its hard to react to day time.)
3. Small part of the land where the ship did dock/ the skiff land? (that would be very far)
I would suggest 2. (But rped 1 so far)
If so maybe there could be a hint given by the illithid/alhoon?

So far as I can tell, and have seen RPed, it goes on for about 15 yards in all directions, so enough to cover boats that have been grappled.

Sea Encounters for sure, landing by skiffs at Islands and the like not so much as you are using a Skiff rowing away from the Dreadnought.

Would make sense about two maybe three ships wide, but yeah once you start rowing away on a skiff, it's going to end.
