Arelith Wiki on ESF Illusion wrote:On addition to this, if no target is specified, it will create a copy of yourself with your current gear and current stats. The copy can fight, but it cannot cast spells. The copy will last 1 hour/caster level or until you rest. On top of this, you can speak through the copy using the -a command. The copy can be maneuvered and the stealth and detect mode toggled using the Player Tool 1 and the radial menu.
Would a projected image retain a cleric's buffs such as divine power, war domain etc.? Would the stats remain for the duration of the buff, or as long as the image persists?

Stats refers to the ability scores and skills.
I don't think it affects modified BAB or added AB. But then again...

Sorry, yeah, that's what I'm asking about. Those buffs increase ability scores. Are the buffed scores transferred to the image?

I just tried it out for you.

No they're not. it's just your unmodified base scores.

I had 9 base strength -> threw myself a maxed bull strength to 14 strength -> used -project_image -> image had only 9 strength.

1.

What's an 'animal' spell?

2. Are Arelith's vampire PCs affected by Turn Undead?

Bull's Strength, Cat's Grace, Endurance, Owl's Wisdom, Fox's Cunning, Eagle's Splendor.

Is Owl's Insight affected by this?

That's weird and is not how it was functioning in the past.
Is that an oversight or was it changed recently?

I do not believe vampire Pc's are affected by any undead targeting things at the moment, such as sunburst or bless weapon.

Is this a bug? I think SM designed them to be affected by those things

It's a bug, but they are also not currently affected by Bless Wep, Sunburst, or items that give AC vs Undead.

Thanks for the replies everyone!

Can anyone give me a top 3 of ESFs for a cleric?

Edit: I'll figure out the RP flavour part on my own.

They can be turned.

I have seen Delano running away from stinger boss (being turned repeatedly, when he was lowbie) :D way back in past.

I do not believe you can turn a max level vampire tho.

Also turning a max level vampire (level 30) is possible,a paladin or cleric(both being a pure builds) of the same level range just has to roll really high

Generally I see Conjuration, Evocation, and either Abjuration or Transmutation in builds.

Conjuration for ease of leveling and big dragon summon as it makes them better and beefier (especially as a caster cleric with less offensive abilities) and a good DC on the Storm of Vengeance spell. You also get the ability to summon PCs to you.

Evocation for the point and click explosions and not getting backlash from Hellball and Greater Ruin. It gives you good implosion DC and buffs things like Hammer of the Gods. This is pretty much the default, "I want to spell sling from the hip in combat" pick for a cleric.

Abjuration for throwing dispels all over the place and immunity to IGMS from mage spawns and PCs if you are willing to drink shield potions. If you fancy peeling your competition like a shrimp of their wards, it's not a bad choice.

Transmutation has gotten a recent buff that definitely puts it on the board heavily. It gives you teleportation powers, the ability to make a temporary portal your party can use, and buffs your stat spells (the animal ones/zoo spells) so you get more out of each of them.

Mind, a lot of this you might already know. But it never hurts to break it down a little.
