On Arelith can Paladins worship any deity that allows LG followers or are they restricted to a set list i.e. could you get a Paladin of Eldath?

Answers on a postcard :D

Given Eldath's dogma I could not see a paladin being sponsored.

Some deities (Sune and Corellon, for example) which are not LG do sponsor paladins, but the dogma of the deity in question also applies.

Playing an eldathan anything is difficult in a PW, she is all about pacifism. How would you play a proper Eldathan without making weird excuses that killing those goblins and bandits out of your way is ok?

You always have that RPR and MoD bonus.

Jergal! Pal/Sorc/PM for optimal results!

You can't combine PM and Paladin since PM requires non-good, let alone the weird RP considerations.

For the original question: Pretty much any deity who has lawful good followers could conceivably have a paladin order. Hoar, Helm, the Triad, Corellon, and Lathander are all popular choices. I personally enjoy Mulhorandi paladins, too. You do, however, have to follow the clerical alignments, so if a deity can't have LG clerics, it can't have paladins. Corellon and Sune are the two exceptions to this, being CG but also having canonical paladin orders.

Can always substitute deity for something else as Arelith lacks tons of domains and deity-specific orders.

Huh, that's... Interesting. I'm not sure where the team stands on that, since there's a ruling that paladins have to worship a god that allows LG alignment.

I'm familiar with the dogma. My point is more that Jergal is very specifically against necromancy and general prolonging of life beyond very specific circumstances, and the religion still isn't likely to make a paladin okay with undead.

The deity entry is probably just copy-pasted from the Forgotten Realms sources. It's OK, since Arelith's not FR and vice versa. I just thought that to be funny, that's all.

You can pick mechanically god head of given pantheon or similar while rping the other.

Arelith deity systém is very restrictive and does not allow paladins for CG gods who have them in Faerun and often the portfolio does not reflect fully gods in lore.

Pindrop left a list of Paladin orders, that might give you some ideas for concepts.
