Underdark Player Population

I took a brake while the Iron Order was still around and if I'm not mistaken the UD was much more lively back then. I'm not sure if there is a drop in number of UD players or my play times are very odd, the underdark seems very stagnant these days. Is it something that happens periodically? And is there anything I can do to make it a bit more livelier? I tried to start a faction but only a few people were interested in joining, and even less had characters I saw regularly...

MY experience is that it seems there has been a drop in activity since the days of the Iron Order. However, I believe that there may also be more going on than what I'm seeing. That is often the case.

I’ve seen it go in cycles, best advice is to get involved and if there isn’t a lot happening...make it happen.

I took a month break as well and I agree, it seems population in Andunor has dropped considerably. I think people just periodically migrate where action is

Final exams, as well as the holiday season are likely having an impact on activity. Surface has been feeling quiet as well

As it was mentioned above, it is currently holiday season. Which means stress of shopping, visiting family and for those in school, exam weeks. But, the exam weeks are coupled with copious amounts of work and assignments.

The playerbase down there is still quite large and continuing to expand. And, you will note an increase after the holiday times and specifically University / College exam times.

There are plenty of people if you look on the right places. It is somewhat active not as much as the surface but active non the less

The UD goes through these phases near constantly, and that's what makes the UD so dynamic.

I'm down there almost exclusively lately and I think it is pretty active though I do not know what it was like before? Eitherway I can awlways find someone to interact with even outside of the house My pc is affiliated witg

Though where they lack in numbers they make up for the RP! But yah it is a cycle. If you have never made a UD toon, I recommend you roll one. You'll have alot of fun!
