When my epic barb (all rage feats) hits enemies sometimes there is an visual on-hit effect shown: a thick white cycle around the targest head for one second. It seems there is no mechanical effect behind it. Does someone know what that is? Does it do anything besides looking nice?
(I dont meen the stun effect.)
[It would be great if it would be a common two-hand effect (e.g. small chance to daze for one round).]

Re: Brabarian on-hit effect?
Thundering rage applies deafness on hit sometimes in vanilla. Maybe that's it?

Couldn't help but imagine Conan in a big black lacy bra.

The vanilla Thundering Rage effects are unchanged and are still active.

Ah! Thank you!
So its: *hit* x 0,25 chance -> fort save DC 20 -> 3 rounds deaf = 0,20 chance spell failure IF arcane spell with verbal component
At least it looks nice!

Re: Brabarian on-hit effect?
Does that include 2d6 (massive critical) damage on crit? If yes, does weapon with massive crits property (like orc weapons) overwrites that with weapon's (in this case) 2d4 massive crits as is the case in vanilla?yellowcateyes wrote:The vanilla Thundering Rage effects are unchanged and are still active.
