How to repair Masterly Damask Staff?

Hello!

How does one go about repairing a Masterly Damask Quarterstaff. My character is a blacksmith but when I put the item on a forge I don't get the repair prompt. So far I've only been able to keep the weapon going thanks to the RNG of Tinkers.

Am I missing something or is this a bug?

Try a carpenter, even though it's a forged item... it might still act like it's wood I guess, since all the other staffs do.

Can confirm, mdamask quarterstaves are repaired through carpentry.
