Ride Horse Questions

I find some unassigned horses completely immune to my interactions.

Furthermore, sometimes I seem to bug out and cannot use even my horse when assigned?

Relogging does not help.

Has anyone found a pattern to these interactions? Is there ways to avoid these issues?

Yesterday I couldn't use any horse either, like you escribed.

Haven't checked if a reset fixed it.

When this happens to me, I find that swapping servers and trying a horse on the other side usually fixes it. Resets help as well.

A couldn't use a general horse at server transition. [Cordor]

Found one at a settlement which worked fine...even after logging in an out a few times. [Surface]
(Which sorta proves Not Enough Skillpoint's point.)

Dismounted for a dungeon...now none work whatsoever.
(I had dismounted many times previous to this in and around several settlements)

No idear.
(Or maybe, does engaging in combat have something to do with it? Meh.)

Ohh i had the same bug before, and someone told me to do something...but i cant now remember what was -that- to reset it

Have you tried resting?
Have you tried transitioning to try on a different server?
Are you in a no-mount area?
Were you logged off riding a horse?

I'm finding that after riding a horse the game keeps treating you as a large object for collisions. You knock and get knocked out of the way by people not anywhere near you.

That only happens if you leave the game while on a horse. Always dismount the horse before leaving the game, or else you will collide with everything the next time you log in and dismount your horse.

That is very much the same. As much as you transferred, you did in fact log out of one server and join the next.

It strikes again.

So, yesterday I went into Cordor and back to the Surface. Today when I logged in I could ride. I did some things while mounted, then unmounted for some minutes and now I cannot mount again.

I have tried to release the mount and assign it again, doesn't seem to work. Relogging doesn't do it either.

I'm having the same experience as Shadow Reality.

My current theory is that it has something to do with hitting an interior area; especially dungeons and caverns so far. Everytime I've bugged out on this was after having done a dungeon.

And no, I'm not riding them into the dungeon.

Reassigning and Resting in an Outdoor area seemed to work? Will have to test more.

Gah...resting didn't cure it this time! But it did immediately occur again from going in a cave...

Is there some behind the scenes mojo with interior...specifically cavern areas?

Did not trigger inside Hawk's Nest for example, does in Riverbank Caverns.

*edit* And resting twice outside did cure it...what the hey!?!

Are you sure it isn't unmounting what does it? Try to mount, unmount and mount again.
